Essential tips for Interview || Attire || Do's & Don'ts || Interview Techniques



Attire

Do you know that an employer will make his/her first impression about whether or not to hire you based on the first 30 seconds of your interview?
Because of this reason, dressing properly and conventionally for an interview is essentially important.
Business Formal is the standard dress code for a job or internship interview.


Women’s business formal attire could include the following:


  • ·         Pant suit (preferably in a dark color), which includes tailored pants and jacket / blazer, and solid (or subtle patterned) blouse/top
  • ·         Skirt suit (preferably in a dark color), which includes knee-length skirt, tailored jacket, and solid (or subtle patterned) blouse/top
  • ·         Small Studs / Post earrings (not dangling or large), minimum ornaments such as rings, bracelets, or necklaces
  • ·         Closed toed shoes with no more than 1-2 inch heels
  • ·         Very light & delicate make-up
  • ·         Small to medium size purse, along with portfolio, pen, and extra copies of your resume in a proper file.
  • Avoid perfumes, if using then very light fragrance.

Men’s business formal attire could include the following:

  • ·         Two-piece,  dark (solid color or conservative pinstripes) suit
  • ·         White dress shirt and with a white undershirt underneath and conservative tie (no bowties, bright colors, or bold patterns)
  • ·         Dark, polished shoes and matching socks
  • ·         Portfolio, pen, and extra copies of your resume
  • ·         Conservative, short haircut
  • ·         Avoid cologne


Business Casual 
Business Casuals is often the dress code in many offices, depending on your work environment and day-to-day responsibilities. While this type of attire is too casual for an interview, you may ask your new supervisor and/or human resources representative about the dress code or judge the work environment once you’ve landed the job or internship.
Women’s business casual attire could include the following:

  • ·         Jacket, blouse, cardigan, or conservative top with pants or a knee-length skirt
  • ·         Simple, knee-length dress (nothing low-cut)
  • ·         Closed or open toed shoes (no flip flops)
  • ·         No jeans or casual sundresses



Men’s business casual attire could include the following:

  • ·         Pants (dark or khaki)
  • ·         Collared button up shirt with a white undershirt underneath or a collared knit polo shirt
  • ·         Leather shoes (no sneakers or flip flops)
  • ·         No jeans




Interview Do’s & Don’ts
Do
  • ·         Dress appropriately
  • ·         Know where you are going
  • ·         Arrive no more than 15 minutes early
  • ·         Maintain a friendly rapport with front office staff
  • ·         Review your notes while waiting
  • ·         Make eye contact & smile



Don’t
  • ·         Arrive late
  • ·         Forget to bring extra copies of your resume
  • ·         Forget to turn off your cell phone
  • ·         Ignore front office staff or others
  • ·         Fidget



Do NOT ask these questions in your job interview!
  • ·        How many vacation days do I get?
  • ·        Are the working hours flexible?
  • ·        What benefits does the company offer?
  • ·        Will I have to work overtime or weekends?
  • ·        How much will I get paid if I get the job?



Interview Techniques






  • Be a quiet, active listener (be empathic, nod, don’t talk, no “uh huh”)
  • Allow subject to complete answers before speaking (no cross talking)
  • Ask interviewee to phrase your question in their answer (for context)

Tasty & Healthy Peanut Recipes, Facts & Health Benefits

Easy "Peanut" Recipes – Tasty & Healthy


1.                PEANUT CHAAT

Prep Time: 5-10 minutes
Cook time: 10-15 minutes
Serve: 3-4
Taste: Tangy

Ingredients for Peanut Chaat Recipe



Raw Peanuts With Shells
3 Cups
Salt
To Taste
Sea Salt
1 Tablespoon
Lemon Juice
2 Tablespoons
Chaat Masala
1/4 Teaspoon
Onion Chopped
1 Small
Tomato Chopped
1 Medium
Turmeric
1 Teaspoon
Red Chilli Powder
1/2 Teaspoon
Roasted Cumin Powder
1 Teaspoon
Green Chillies Chopped
2-3
Fresh Coriander Leaves Chopped
2 Tablespoons

Method for Peanut Chaat Recipe


  1. Take the peanuts in Pressure-cooker with 5 cups of water with turmeric powder & sea salt for around 5-6 whistles.
  2. Drain and shell them.
  3. Take the peanuts in a bowl. Add salt, chaat masala, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, onion, tomato, green chillies, coriander leaves, lemon juice and mix well.
  4. Serve chilled.

2.              PEANUT BUTTER

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 5 minutes
Serve: 3-4
Taste: Tangy


 

Ingredients for Peanut Butter Recipe



Roasted Peanuts
1 Cup
Salt
to taste
Honey
2 Tea Spoons

  1. Take the roasted peanuts in a mixer grinder.
  2. Mix it properly on medium speed stop in between & check.
  3. If required mix it for another 2 to 3 minutes until the peanut butter is shiny and smooth.
  4. Add salt and honey.
  5. Again mix until combined well.
  6. Serve with bread, brownies, fruits, smoothies, sandwiches, toasts, etc.

Researchers found that a diet that includes foods with high levels of monounsaturated fats like peanut butter can help people lose weight and prevent heart disease. Like other weight-loss programs, a peanut butter diet should be done in conjunction with exercise.

A single serving of peanut butter is just two tablespoons. You can eat the peanut butter on a single serving of whole grain bread or with fruit or vegetables.

§  The nuts are a rich source of minerals like copper, manganese, potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc, and selenium.
§  Just a handful of peanuts per day provide enough recommended levels of phenolic antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, and protein.
§  Peanut kernels are a good source of dietary protein; compose fine quality amino acids that are essential for growth and development.
§  Peanuts contain high concentrations of polyphenolic antioxidants, primarily p-coumaric acid. This compound has been thought to reduce the risk of stomach cancer by limiting the formation of carcinogenic nitrosamines in the stomach.

10 Important Things to maintain a Strong & Long Lasting Relationship with your Loved ones

What comes in your mind when its about Relationship?


You must be thinking about your loved ones, your soul mate or someone you want to be with for a life time.
But is this the only meaning of a relationship? Well the answer is NO. A healthy & true relationship can be with anyone. Your mother, your father, your siblings, your teacher, your friends  & of course your loved ones.

A healthy relation needs few things to keep in mind. Lets know them-


·         Chit-chat with them

Sometimes a small hello makes a big difference so don't ever miss a chance to talk to your loved ones. Communicate with them without any hesitation.

It gives a feeling of satisfaction & safety of having someone always beside you weather you are happy or sad. 

Discuss their problems & tell them yours too. This is how the relation will get stronger & you will never get afraid from anything as you will always have an emotional support with you.

·         Thank them always

Thank you has the power to give a smile on anyone's face without much efforts & when its about your loved ones then it is more important as they play a very-very important role in your life. 

Thanking them even for those small things can make your bonding stronger & sustaining. These two words have the power of conveying your respect towards that person. So never forget to thank them.



·         Hug Them

A warm hug is all you need after a busy day. It decreases the stress level & helps to keep you happy & relaxed. Especially the good morning & good night hug to your loved ones (your mom, dad, siblings, etc.). Those hugs are so precious & important too.

 Shopping is the best therapy & it is best way to know each other's liking & disliking. Everyone loves shopping weather its a boy or girl, a lady or a gents. So always take full advantage of going for shopping with your loved ones. 

You can spend a quality time with your loved ones. This will make you happy. Shopping gives you a great chance to know your loved ones.

Who doesn't like surprises?

Everyone loves to get surprises by their loved ones. You can also try this idea to make your relationship stronger. You can surprise your mom with giving her one day break from cooking & you will cook for her.

Surprises are the most essential thing & they are planned & executed well then you can give a big smile on your loved ones faces. Its all about your will & the importance of relationship.



·         Play with them

Playing those old games (indoor or outdoor), will seriously give a fully fresh start to your boring & dull relation. There are many games you can play with your loved ones as per their & your choice & interest. Weather its a indoor game or outdoor, the only thing which matters is the joy you get playing with them.

So let’s plan it out & take out some time for playing those old games with your loved & enjoy those moments fully.




·         Go for a Picnic

Everyone needs a break to have relaxed mind to analyze & build a strong relationship. You should always give priority of going out with your loved ones, doing nothing being with them.

A picnic to your favorite place will make you full of energy & you find better ways to solve any kind of problems or issues. If the picnic is at or near by a natural picnic spot then it will be more beneficial for you. But it depends upon you, where you feel most relaxed & happy while on picnic with your loved ones.

·         Party with them

Party! This word is loved by everyone. Whenever you have less time to go out with you loved ones, just throw a small party or join a party. That's the best way to get relaxed & sorting out any of the issues you are having.

You can party at your home, any restaurant, etc. You can invite all your close people to join your party & just make yourself go with the flow. Enjoy with them, dance with them, eat something common of interest & just go with the flow.

This is what any relationship asks for. "Care", when you actually love someone you automatically care about themselves. Parents care for their child, a friend cares for another, a teacher cares for his/her students. A caring nature person is loved by all.

But it is also very important to show your care to your loved ones time to time. They should know your feelings & affection you have for them.
